As we approached retirement my husband and myself wanted some advice on our pension options and how to maximise returns from our investments.

Steve gave us all round advice on our pension options and potential lifetime allowance mitigation and inheritance tax. As a result we have decided to transfer our of our defined benefit scheme pensions into a managed plan and put in place tax efficient wills.

We are more informed about our retirement options and have greater control over our retirement assets albeit have (knowingly) assumed a higher level of risk.

I wanted to consolidate my pensions which were a mixture of defined benefit and defined contribution. I had specific plan in mind. Stephen listened to what I had in mind and then talked me through the transfer process highlighting the pros and cons.

The team at Raven Wealth were extremely reassuring and managed the transfer process with a high degree of professionalism. The transfer involved liaison with my pension providers over several weeks. I am now in a much better and secure position.

I received  a telephone appointment and emails giving advice and help and explaining everything in a way I understood so that I could make a decision.

He arranged a ‘Lifetime Mortgage’ for us. It proved to be a very difficult process with the Mortgage Company. Their systems were not easy to deal with as we were purchasing a property which was not yet fully built.

I needed advice on transferring my pension from a large bank pension scheme to a separate provider. Steve and his team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish!

This was particularly frustrating process because the bank scheme had reduced the transfer value by a sizeable amount just prior to the transfer application. With Steve’s help I was able to get some of this back.

He really did save the day!
